The papaya, or pawpaw, is the fruit of the Carica papaya plant, in the genus Carica.The fruit contains the enzymes papain and chymonpapain, which have exfoliating properties that remove dead and damaged skin.
Papain extracted from white milky latex of green and fully grown papaya fruits.It's a proteolytic enzyme from the cysteine proteinase family.
